It can be as routine as taking an order, as involved as identifying a product from innoucous numbers, letters or colors or as complex as interpreting vague architectural specifications and converting obsolete numbers to current nomenclature.

The point is NEDC stands ready to serve in whatever capacity you need. We offer personal representation in selected areas of all six New England states. Our repair service is one of many features that makes NEDC truly unique. We can affect repairs to all types of surface and concealed closers, some nearly 100 years old and out of production for decades. Institutions take advantage of this service because, often, the cost of a repair is less than half the cost of a new replacement—if it could even be found. This not only extends the door maintenance budget but because the same closer can be put back in the original holes, labor is drastically reduced and the integrity of the door and frame remain uncompromised. NEDC’s repair service is also environmentally sound as all waste oil, aluminum and cast iron is recycled. In fact, the majority of our shipping containers and packaging is recycled from previous users.

NEDC also does special architectural restoration projects where door closers must conform to period specifications or aesthetics.
